On August 30th 2015 Ford Vietnam held the 8th national skill contest in Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh city. This is the annual event to report the results of training and specialist skill practice of the service teams coming from the authorized dealers of Ford all over the country.
The contest was organized for the entire staff of the service department of all dealers and divided into six contents: service director, accessory manager, service advisor, customer care staff, maintenance technician and repair technician. Taking place in 2 days, the contest has brought many interesting challenges for the contestants on various skills such as service management, customer care processes, or quick maintenance performance.
The final result, the first prize of the competition of technicians belonged to Mr Bui Quang Tuyen comes from the opposing team, and the second prize is Mr. Phung Van Thuy the contestant from Western Ford. These two persons will be the two representatives of Ford Vietnam to compete in the skill contest of Ford ASEAN next year.

All the authorized dealers of Ford Vietnam are standardized the global Quality Care, and are supported by the service training system of Global Ford with daily evaluation processes, periodic trainings and examinations for level checking. The service training system of Global Ford is divided into four levels: L1-L2-L0-L3.
Those who are absolute beginners to Ford are trained with basic training on automobile repairs will have level L0. Every year, Ford offers training programs to improve employee proficiency levels up to L1-L3, and the top level is L3. Vietnam has applied this training system by Ford since 2012, and the year 2015 will mark the first time there are employees of Ford Vietnam get the L3 standard.
